Assistant Manager Teacher Training & Development

Source Code Academia is looking for a proactive, organized, and results-driven Assistant Manager – Teacher Training & Development to strengthen teaching quality, improve teacher performance, and lead effective professional development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify teachers’ training needs through performance evaluations, classroom observations, and competency gap analysis.
• Plan, organize, and deliver teacher training sessions on teaching methodologies, lesson planning, student engagement, classroom management, and online teaching practices.
• Develop and update training materials, presentations, practical exercises, and assessment tools.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through pre- and post-training assessments, feedback, practical demonstrations, and follow-up observations.
• Coach teachers who need additional support and develop structured performance improvement plans.
• Monitor teachers’ progress and ensure training outcomes translate into measurable improvements in teaching practices.
• Coordinate with Academic Management to align training initiatives with academic standards and organizational goals.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance sheets, assessment results, and coaching documentation.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly reports on training delivery, teacher performance, KPI achievement, challenges, and improvement recommendations.

Key Performance Expectations

• At least 90% of teachers demonstrate measurable improvement in teaching methodology scores.
• At least 90% of planned training activities are completed, with at least 90% participation from targeted teachers.
• Achieve at least 20% average improvement in training assessment scores.
• Verify practical application of learned skills for at least 80% of trained teachers.
• Review all identified underperforming teachers and support at least 80% in achieving agreed improvement targets.
• Maintain complete training documentation and submit all required reports on time.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong understanding of teaching methodologies, teacher performance evaluation, and professional development.
• Experience in training coordination, training facilitation, academic operations, quality assurance, or teacher development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting abilities.
• Ability to interpret performance data, identify gaps, and develop practical improvement plans.
• Proficiency in preparing reports, maintaining records, and using digital tools for training and documentation.
• A proactive, accountable, and continuous-improvement mindset.
